my onomatopoeia poem

Sausage on a pan

Grrrrrr… the freezer opens like a chest’s top opening.
I reach inside the icicle like freezer and grab the frigid sausages.
Shhhhhhh the noise of the freezer closing annoys my brain.
I start warming the sausages in the microwave, beep beep.
The irritating noise annoys my brain even more “uhhhhhhhhh why today” I groan.
I continue preparing the sausage.
Next I settle the sausage on the pan, sizzle sizzle pop!
Ahhhhhh I vociferate, a sigh of relief escapes  out of my mouth like an ocean’s breeze.
The tragedy is done now I can enjoy my sausage.

My Wild Self

I was exploring an eerie cave, when out of the corner of my eye I saw an abnormal, foreign creature feasting on its prey.   It looked something like this… On the top of its head it had bison horns protruding out just over its SPEAR NOSED BAT EARS.  These ears helped it to hear extremely well. His eyes were more miniscule than a chameleon’s eyes.  It had a snake tongue which was used to collect chemicals in the air to evoke different electrical signals which are relayed to the brain.

He had condor wings sticking out from his back which has an unbelievable wingspan of 10 feet!  The most spine-chilling, blood-curdling part of this creature was the crab arms, they were about thirteen feet long and he used them to grab onto his prey.  He would then suffocate it with his rattlesnake tail.

All of a sudden, he started slithering like a worm.  Then it crawled up into a ball and somehow made a roaring noise like a Mclaren 570S' s exhaust pipe.   Its Condor wings flapped wildy, I was so surprised by its undomesticated behaviour. Though his behaviour seemed rough, he soon began to act very friendly and childlike.

“Finally it has calmed down,”  I mumbled to myself.  However, I spoke too soon...  the being elevated its crab arms and brandished its arms like a psycho, then it slithered into the depths of the cave.
I wonder if there's more of his kind?  Will he ever come back? I  was left with several questions and thoughts whirling through my brain.

My recount

My Surgery

In the middle of the pitch black, freezing night,  I suddenly woke up. To my surprise the right side of my belly was hurting and since it didn’t normally hurt,  I told my mum. She said to go to the toilet... so I did but after I was done, the pain didn’t stop. I was simply curious but my mum felt worried.

The next day, my mum took me to the GP while my dad was at work and my sister was at daycare. When we reached the GP, she told me to lie down on a mat.  As she checked me, I kept wailing….the pain felt like a bullet had gone through my stomach. The GP said it might be an appendicitis and to take me straight to Starship hospital.  My mum called my dad and he also came. In the reception I had to wait and wait and wait until the receptionist called me in, “Finally, I’m in the hospital ward” I groaned . After a while, the nurse came and did a finger prick but it didn’t hurt. But soon after something did…..

Then another nurse came and took me to a room, she injected a needle in my hand that hurt a lot  but I stayed strong and didn’t drop a tear. Next she extracted some blood from my body and took it somewhere. Two days later, without eating or drinking anything, the head surgeon and the two other surgeons came to my room to do a check up.  They said it was an appendicitis and that I would go straight to surgery.

“It’s time for the surgery” the nurse spoke. My mum, dad and my sister were worried so I said to them, “As long as I don't feel it I will be fine.”   I had to lie down on a trolley and they rolled me to the surgery room then they gave me general anesthesia ( liquid that puts you to sleep ).

After the surgery I was so relieved but I was so hungry.  I ate Subway toasties like a pig scoffing vegetable scraps.  No one knew how it happened or why so I went home with more questions than answers.  Being in tremendous pain was an awful experience and I hope my body isn't in that much pain again.
