The Little Shoemaker
On a fine day in Strasbourg, France, there lived a diminutive, hard-working man named Arthur.  He had hair like spikes and a moustache like a trimmed bush. Arthur owned an old fashioned shop named Cordonnerie, which meant a shoe shop in French.

While Arthur was dusting his shoes a dainty lady was strolling through the streets when a red high heel with a blush pink bow caught her eye. The lady had a dark, mustard colour dress with bold polka dots scattered around. Her hair was a colour of an apricot and her eyes were emerald green, that glistened in the scorching sun. The lady cheerfully accepted the high heels until something happened…

An old vintage van covered with red carbon fibre braked, a man named Remy cheerfully hopped out of the van he had a black suit and white gloves. Remy was around 6 ft and 5 inches tall, a black top hat on his head. Remy was holding A staff in his hand and pressed the button to Arthur and the customer’s surprise it displayed magnificent heels, the customer rushed over but they were too expensive suddenly a tiny bell rang. The customer elegantly walked over to a wooden stall which had on display the glossy high heel, then  Remy pushed the same red button and posters popped up from all sides giving the lady a discount. Finally, she agreed to the deal and bought it.

Arthur was angry, he went into his shop and got his materials to make his shoe he spent the rest of the day and night creating a masterpiece. The next morning a pair of sneakers came to life. On the same stall one sneaker proudly stood there, Remy hit the red button and a marvellous stand of white and red sneakers. Arthur was jaw dropped.

He started ringing a bell and holding a sign saying -20% but nobody bought his shoes. Then a  -60% still nobody bought his shoes, finally, the man gave a whopping -95% still no luck for Arthur. By now all his money was used poor old Arthur was depressed and he didn't know what to do.

Remy came to his door, in the night, and through the mail slot in the door a page glide  onto the floor. The text written on the page said 79,000 franc, the french dollar, for the shop. When he was about to sign the contract, his shoes appeared. A pair of light yellow coloured shoes with a tin of gold. The next morning  he trotted outside with the paper and the golden shoes. Arthur proudly gave the box, Remy snatched the box with a curious look. When he opened the box a surprising look was on his face when he saw the golden, glimmering shoes. He tried them on. The shoes were controlling him they made Remy do the splits after that they made him run away into the horizon.

Arthur walked back into his shop, suddenly another van pushed Remy’s van and then parked his shoe van where Remy’s was parked Arthur clenched his fists together an shouted “ THIS IS WAR”.
